Uganda is a fertile, well-watered, landlocked country with many lakes and rivers. Located in East Africa, it is bordered on the west by Congo, on the north by the Sudan, on the east by Kenya, and on the south by Tanzania and Rwanda.

There are 48 languages in Uganda. 16% of these languages are from the Bantu family.
